We have studied the dyed fabrics by reflectance and colorimetric analyses. We have found that wool, along with many other fabrics, dyed with indigo or MBI turns blue upon heating in water, while DBI-dyed wool turns red upon heating in water. The purpose of the research is to compare the dyeing properties of indigo, MBI, and DBI to find an explanation for the thermochromic effect (color change upon heating). Also, you might want to give some pictures showing the thermochromic effects of mbi and dbi, just for background. You should tell about the previous research, but make sure the audience knows who did it.
